It snowed about 12 inches here last night. That’s the biggest snow storm in the Boone area since 1998. Needless to say, we were shut-in today even with 4-wheel-drive. Megan spent about an hour shoveling this morning, and then I went out this afternoon and cleaned off the car, which took about half an hour. Isabella played in the snow until her toes hurt so bad she started crying. Here are some pics. I’m getting really lazy with pictures–I’m just not feeling inspired here lately.

- Megan dug about 4 tons of snow. Look how deep it was!
- There’s a 2-3 inch layer of ice under the snow
- Snow drifted under Katie’s car, filling up all the open spaces, and then the snow plow ensured that she wouldn’t get out today.
- The snow plow also took out this manhole cover. Someone’s going to break an axle.
- Tops of milk crates sticking up in the snow
